Statement

Walk into District Court on a normal morning and most people there don't have a lawyer. A ticket, a dispute with a landlord, a hard week that turned into a court date. What's routine to the court is the biggest day of the year for them. They deserve a judge who treats it that way.

I've practiced law in Walla Walla for more than twenty years, in civil, family, and criminal cases, at trial and on appeal. Since 2015 I've sat as a judge pro tempore in Superior Court, and this year in District Court, the seat I'm running for. I know how this bench works because I've sat on it.

Here's my standard: the courtroom runs the same way for everyone who walks in. First-timer or regular. Lawyer or none. You get heard, you get respect, you get a fair shot under the law. That doesn't change with who you are.

I built my practice here. I've served on our free clinic's board and spent years with local 4-H and Pony Club. This is home, and I'd be proud to serve it from the bench. I'm asking for your vote.
